Welcome to Claxton Country Squares!
Claxton Country Squares (CCS) is a square dance club in the Western Square Dance tradition. We are one of East Tennessee's finest Square Dance Clubs located near Knoxville, Oak Ridge, Clinton, and the beautiful Smoky Mountains.
We welcome dancers at all levels. Our goal is to provide a time and place for all to enjoy dancing in a friendly and welcoming environment.
Dances are held on the first and fourth Saturday of the month at the Claxton Community Center (directions). Our caller, Mike Hoose, is one of the best square dance callers and instructors in the United States. Come and join the fun!

Are you dancer with previous western square dancing experience and just needs a refresher course? You may still be eligible to take lessons this year. CONTACT US with your situation and we will let you know!
